As a Senior Associate/Legal Counsel in our Work and Road team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across a file load with one of our most experienced and respected practice groups nationally. You will also have the chance to manage and strengthen existing community relationships and build new networks.
Supporting Clients in Their Recovery Process
Our lawyers at Slater and Gordon represent clients who have sustained a workplace injury, contracted an illness at work, or suffered an injury as a result of a transport accident. We understand the challenges our clients face and provide them with the legal support they need, so they can focus on their recovery.
Building and Strengthening Community Relationships
In addition to handling challenging legal matters, this role also involves managing and strengthening existing community relationships and initiating new networks.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - 5 years of experience in personal injury law, specifically workers compensation and/or transport accident law - Excellent communication skills - Calm and easy-going nature - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team - Ability to handle sensitive and challenging issues - Exceptional negotiation skills and effective communication - Strong network and relationship management skills - Willingness to mentor junior practitioners
